"À cause de l'automne" (English: "''because of the autumn (Fall )'' ") is the first single from the French recording artist Alizée's album ''5''. The single was pre-released on 28 June 2012, directly on Alizée's official website at 17:00 French time (CET). The single was released on French iTunes and French Amazon.fr on 4 July 2012, also was released same at iTunes and in e-music stores around the world. Other download platforms list 6 July 2012 for the release date. On SACEM website was told that Alizée was working hard on the follow-up to the Une enfant du siècle and the new single would be expected to be released in early spring 2012.〔http://www.chartsinfrance.net/Alizee/news-80464.html〕
On single cover Alizée is dressed in a fancy dress, with wild hairdo, and natural makeup. Alizée's appearance in the cover was very well received by critics.〔
